Beyond The Basics: Audible Contrast Threshold (ACT)
This course provides discussion of the implementation and processes of the Audible Contrast Threshold test, explore how the assessment might fit into a hearing professional’s clinical flow and discuss the applications of the test and its outcomes for non-routine cases. We will discuss the challenges clinicians may face in the implementation of the ACT test and draw on the knowledge and experience of clinicians to provide guidance on how to optimize the utility of the test in daily practice. We will explore case studies and challenge attendees to use evidence-based strategies to inform clinical decision making in these cases.
Presented by: Michael East, Audiologist and International Clinical Trainer at the Interacoustics Academy.
The course is free of charge and you will receive a certificate upon completion. We are working toward points accreditation with various governing bodies around the world, including the American Academy of Audiology.
